What is Google Ads Editor? Google Ads Editor is a free, downloadable desktop application that allows you to make bulk changes to your Google Ads accounts offline. It's designed for managing large campaigns with many keywords, ads, and settings that would be tedious to change one by one in the online interface. Agencies, large advertisers, and power users rely on Google Ads Editor for tasks like: duplicating campaigns to new geographies, making mass bid changes, bulk uploading thousands of keywords, and making comprehensive copy changes across multiple campaigns simultaneously. The "View" dropdown lets you switch between looking at Search/Display/Shopping campaigns specifically. Bulk Editing Techniques The power of Editor lies in bulk operations. Here are the most valuable: Find and Replace Use Edit → Find and Replace to change text across multiple ads simultaneously. For example, change "2023" to "2024" in all ad headlines at once. Use with caution — always preview changes before applying. Bulk Bid Changes Select multiple keywords → right-click → Edit keyword bids. Change to a specific amount, increase by %, decrease by %, or set as the same value. This operation that takes hours in the web interface takes seconds in Editor. Duplicate and Adjust Right-click any campaign or ad group and "Copy." Then paste and modify — perfect for duplicating campaigns to new geographic targets or creating seasonal variations.
